Autumn in France

Here are a few snapshots of our VISA-run to France to stay with our friends David, Kelli and their son Cohen.

The Smith’s currently live in the city of Tours, France, which is right in the middle of the beautiful Loire Valley.  David is a professional volleyball player on contract with Tours Club (and they are one of the best in France).  They were gracious enough to open their doors for us and we had a wonderful time with them: eating home-cooked meals, exploring local towns & chateaus with little Cohen, watching David’s team play live… and even had a day-trip to Paris.  Being there in Fall was lovely!  The weather was superb, the leaves were changing colors and there were very almost no tourists. It felt like France that I had imagined as a kid and we were so thankful to have this short, but memorable experience.
