Four Days in Rajasthan

We had a wild few days in the North Indian state of Rajasthan exploring the cities of Agra and Jaipur.  Agra is home to one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal, as well as the spectacular Red Fort.  Jaipur is a fascinating historical city full of stunning architecture and vibrant culture.  We visited the awe-inspiring Amber Fort, walked the narrow back-streets of the city, encountered many monkeys, and there might have been an elephant or two involved as well.  It was such a pleasure to visit another part of India and experience almost a whole different culture.  The middle-eastern influence is much more present in the north.  Sometimes I didn’t even feel like I was in India, it felt more like what I imagine Morocco or Egypt to be like.
